Writtle University College alumnus Ian Price has won a Gold Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2017 for his garden about mental ill health. The 39-year-old used the prestigious show as a platform to draw attention to an issue that will affect 1 in 4 of us at some point in our lives. The garden gives visitors a taste of life debilitated by depression in a deeply personal creative project - and it attracted the interest of HRH The Duchess of Cambridge who visited the Mind Trap garden and spoke to Ian about its creation and his experiences.
